Healthfront Doctors offers:

  • Face-to-face consultations
  • Phone and Video consultations (Telehealth)

Appointments can be booked by:

  • Booking online through HotDoc

In an emergency, call 000 or attend your nearest hospital emergency department.

Billing Policy

The doctors at Healthfront Doctors offer bulk-billed appointments for eligible Medicare card holders. Private fees will apply to patients without a Medicare card, for medical reports, forms and services not covered by Medicare.

Use of AI technologies

To give you more dedicated time with your doctor, the doctors at Healthfront Doctors may use secure Artificial Intelligence (AI) for certain administrative tasks like creating consultation notes, appointment bookings, and organising correspondence.

To protect your privacy and confidentiality, Healthfront Doctors technology partners are carefully chosen by adhering to principles from the RACGP, AMA, AHPRA, the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care (ACSQHC), and the Australian Government’s Voluntary AI Safety Standard.

Please be assured, these AI tools are not used for clinical diagnosis or decision-making; all responsibility for your care remains entirely with your doctor.

The doctor will inform you before using an AI scribe in a consultation or if you are speaking to a digital assistant over the phone so that you have the right to refuse its use.

Please also tell your doctor if you do not want AI used to organise your letters or other documents.

Repeat prescriptions and referrals

Please book an appointment with one of the doctors for repeat prescriptions and referrals. This is to ensure that current aspects of your health are reviewed to ensure that your ongoing treatment is appropriate for you.

Test results and Follow-up appointments

Please book an appointment to discuss your test results. Results are usually available 2-3 days after you have completed your test.

Results can be discussed in person or over a telehealth consult.

If test results are not urgent but require follow-up, you will receive a text message recall or phone call to your registered phone number, advising you to book an appointment to discuss them.

If results are URGENT, one of the doctors will contact you directly.

Routine reminders for health screening

You may receive routine reminder messages offering preventative health screening that is appropriate for you.

Privacy and Your Health Information

Healthfront Doctors is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of your health information, ensuring it is kept secure and only available to authorized staff members. The doctors collect and handle your personal data primarily to provide you with the best possible healthcare. This may involve sharing relevant information with specialists, pathology, and other providers to whom you are referred for continuity of care. Please note:

  • Appointment cancellations, discussion of your medical conditions, and requests for results, referrals or prescriptions are not managed via email.
